From 1865 into the early years of the 20th century W.G.Grace was considered the worlds greatest and most famous cricketer.
Crowds flocked to see this big bearded men and probably more than any other player he helped change cricket into the international game that we know today. As captain of the English team during the 1891-1892 Australian Test Series he helped generate new interest in the game in Australia.
